My mom and I live together, and we both have chronic cancer. I receive SSDI and she works for the city, but our budget is stretched thin. Recently, my mom went through severe medical trouble related to her heart and had to take a month off work to recover. She’s also been struggling with severe anxiety, and I’ve been providing her 24-hour care for three months. We don’t have enough money to pay all our bills, and rent is due in two days. Her mental health has been deeply impacted by her medical needs.

The funds will specifically be going to our rent, electricity bill, and groceries. This support will help us keep our home, cover essential expenses, and give us a bit of breathing room as we navigate this difficult time. Every donation will make a real difference in our daily lives and help us focus on healing and recovery.

This period in our lives has been very taxing mentally and physically, any support you could provide would not only help us meet our living obligations but would lift a great deal of the stress that I wake up every morning feeling in my chest. This period of my life seems to come in waves knocking me down over and over and I am exhausted, if you have just a little extra you can spare in financial support, your contribution would really lift me up.
