<div>We appeal to the hearts of all of you who wish to help Saint Sava Cathedral and its community in New York recover from a tragic fire that severely damaged the church in 2016.

<div>Currently, the Saint Sava Church-School congregation is attempting to reestablish its only place of worship and gathering. As many of you know, last year we managed to return to our cathedral for church services after almost seven years. Over the course of the past year, we have made incremental improvements to the cathedral, including electric and lighting installations and electric heaters. We are currently working to install protection on the church windows to prevent deterioration and allow us to remove the scaffolding.

<div>In order to be able to continue with the church restoration, we are embarking on a project to restore use to the Parish House, including establishing heat, water, and interior improvements to make it usable and accessible for religious services, church school, cultural programs, and community gatherings.

<div>To cover the cost of the work needed to establish basic conditions in our Parish House, we are looking to raise $150,000 in donations for this project. Any help that you can offer the Saint Sava Cathedral and Church-School congregation to recover and return our historic landmark to its position as the center of the Serbian community in New York will be greatly appreciated. All donations between now and Easter will be earmarked for the Parish House and all donors will be acknowledged on our website. Thank you for your support! <div>Црквено-школска општина Светог Саве тренутно покушава да обнови своје једино место богослужења и окупљања. Као што многи већ знате, прошле године, после скоро седам година, успели смо да се вратимо у храм и да поново успоставимо богослужења.
