<div>Hi, my name is Teisha, and I’m writing on behalf of someone who would never ask for help herself — my sister, Geena. (To some, she’s known lovingly as Tigga or GiGi.) She’s the kind of person who always shows up for others — whether it was as a 911 dispatcher or in her more recent work as a medical assistant. Her life has always been about helping people in their hardest moments.

<div>Now, she’s the one in need of help — and she’d never ask, so I’m doing it for her.

<div>Just days ago, Geena was in a devastating motorcycle accident. What should have been a simple ride home turned into a nightmare. Her beloved bike — her freedom, her therapy, her joy — was destroyed. And worse, so was her ability to live life the way she once did.
</div>

</div>
<div>Geena is now unable to walk or perform even the simplest tasks on her own. Every step, every movement requires assistance. She’s in constant pain, physically and emotionally — grieving the sudden loss of her independence, and the passion she had for riding.
</div>

<div>Before the accident, she was preparing to enter the military — excited for a new beginning, and ready to create a better future for herself and her daughter. Now, that dream is on hold, and survival has taken its place.
</div>

<div>She’s a single mom to a bright, beautiful elementary schooler who looks up to her as her everything. That little girl is scared — scared for her mom, and scared of the unknown.
</div>

</div>
<div>We’re doing everything we can to hold things together, but we can’t do it alone.
</div>
