For the past 30 days, she’s been living at a hotel, trying to figure out how to rebuild her life and her home — but it’s been an uphill battle.

<div>Sheila lives in a rural area, and housing options nearby are limited. Unfortunately, she doesn’t qualify for any assistance programs, so she’s had to shoulder everything on her own. Despite these challenges, she continues to stay strong for her family. Sheila has three children and four grandchildren — one she’s raising herself — and she often helps care for the others whenever she can.
