<div>On what should’ve been a special night out with his daughter, Shane’s life changed in an instant.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just weeks after buying their first home together, this proud single dad took his daughter to a local car event in Beenleigh, something they both loved doing. But as they were walking back to their car, a driver decided to show off with a burnout, lost control, and ploughed into Shane.

</div>
<div>The impact left Shane with devastating injuries. A compound fracture to his right leg. His left leg and right foot were badly lacerated to the bone, which is need of skin graphs. His hip was dislocated, and his right arm was broken. Shane has endured countless hours of surgery, with many more still to come. He has months of rehabilitation ahead of him just to begin walking again.

</div>
<div>Shane is the kind of bloke who would always help a mate, the first to lend a hand, fix something, or offer support when someone else was struggling. Now, he’s the one who needs us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This accident hasn’t just taken his mobility, it’s taken his ability to work and provide for his daughter while they face mounting medical bills and recovery costs. After finally achieving the dream of home ownership, Shane’s future is now uncertain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re rallying together to support Shane through this heartbreaking time. Every dollar raised will go towards his ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation, and helping keep their home secure while he recovers.

<div>Please, if you can, donate or share this page to spread the word. Let’s show Shane and his daughter that their community stands behind them, just as he has always stood behind others.
</div>

</div>
<div>Together, we can help Shane walk again, heal, and rebuild the life he fought so hard for.
