<div>Hello everyone,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>I am a PhD student currently studying in the United States</strong>, and I am going through a very difficult medical and financial situation.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Over the past several months, I have been dealing with <strong>health problems</strong> that have required <strong>surgery</strong>, multiple <strong>hospital procedures, follow-up care, and ongoing diagnostic testing</strong>. Fortunately, my insurance has covered some of the medical expenses. However, <strong>due to the limitations of student insurance plans</strong>, some costs have only been <strong>partially covered, and certain procedures have not been covered at all.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a part-time student worker, my income was already very limited. Since then, I have been trying to manage medical bills, medications, utility balances, and basic living expenses while continuing my studies and dealing with an uncertain recovery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This journey has been physically exhausting, emotionally overwhelming, and financially devastating. I do not have family here or anyone who can support me financially, which has made this situation even harder. <strong>All necessary documents and medical bills have been uploaded for transparency.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since December, I have had several additional procedures, including procedures on December 17, January 14, February 4, and February 25. <strong>Most recently, on March 25, I went to CARTI Cancer Center and completed an important part of the diagnostic process.</strong> I am now waiting for the test results and hoping for clear and positive news.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for any support you can offer.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With gratitude,

</div>

<div>Shabnam

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>"All funds will be used to cover my personal medical expenses."</strong>
