<div>Please join us in supporting a vital cause: the revival and transformation of the Zambia Tennis Association (ZTA). The ZTA has faced daunting challenges recently, including a suspension from the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which has severely impacted all its programs, particularly those aimed at nurturing young talent. In Zambia, tennis is often overshadowed by other sports, receiving limited attention and resources. This has left the ZTA in a precarious position, struggling to maintain programs and support its athletes.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite these challenges, Lighton Musonda, the newly appointed President of the ZTA since July 2023, holds a grand vision for tennis in Zambia. He is determined to elevate the sport, produce internationally competitive players, and use tennis as a tool for social change and community development.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>To achieve these goals, the ZTA plans to:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Hire Skilled Personnel: </em>Employ dedicated administrators and coaches to provide quality training and mentorship.
</div>
<div>Enhance Infrastructure: Review and refurbish existing tennis facilities, and build new ones, especially in underprivileged rural areas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Integrate Education: </em>Combine tennis training with educational programs, focusing on communities with limited access to resources, including villages with no electricity or water.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Address Social Issues: </em>Use tennis and education as tools to protect children from abuse, substance addiction, and other societal challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Empower Young Girls: </em>Elevate the living standards of young girls, providing them with opportunities and support to avoid exploitation.
</div>
<div><br />
