<div>WE DID IT!
</div>
<div>OUR THREE FLAT ROOFS HAVE BEEN REPLACED!
</div>
<div>Thanks to the incredible generosity of local community groups, charities, members of the public, parents and friends of Girlguiding Alsager, we’re delighted to share some fantastic news…
</div>
<div>THE THREE FLAT ROOFS ON OUR GUIDE HALL HAVE NOW BEEN REPLACED!
</div>
<div>The work was successfully completed at the end of June.
</div>
<div>This is a huge milestone for Girlguiding Alsager and a wonderful achievement for our whole community.
</div>
<div>We simply couldn’t have done it without you!
</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone who has supported us with donations, fundraising and encouragement. Your kindness and generosity have made a real difference.
</div>
<div>ONE FINAL PUSH!
</div>
<div>WE’RE NOT QUITE THERE YET…
</div>
<div>We still need to raise the remaining funds to replace the pitched roof and complete this vital project.
</div>
<div>OUR FINAL GOAL:
</div>
<div>SECURE THE FUTURE OF OUR GUIDE HALL
</div>
<div>FOR GENERATIONS OF GIRLS TO COME
</div>
<div>Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to reaching our final target.
</div>
<div>THANK YOU FOR HELPING US GET THIS FAR!
</div>
<div>PLEASE HELP US COMPLETE THE PROJECT
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This hall has served Alsager for 50 years. It is now at the stage where we need to act to keep it serving Alsager for the years to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are part of Girlguiding, supporting girls and young women to grow in confidence and find their voice. Locally, more than 200 members aged 4 to adulthood use this hall every week during term time. Everything we do is led by volunteers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hall is not only used by Girlguiding.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is a shared community space, used week in, week out by:
</div>
<ul>
<li>U3A
</li>
<li>Fitness and wellbeing classes
</li>
<li>Art and creative groups
</li>
<li>Local organisations needing an accessible meeting space
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is also a well used venue for overnight residential stays, welcoming Girlguiding units from the local area and from across the UK.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This building supports the whole community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The problem we face today</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>The roof is actively leaking
</li>
<li>There is little or no insulation beneath it
</li>
<li>The heating system is inefficient and costly
</li>
<li>Continued leaks risk damage to the building and its use
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we do not act now, the hall may become unusable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What your donation will do</strong>
</div>
<div>Your support will fund urgent work to:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Repair and secure the leaking roof
</li>
<li>Improve insulation to protect the building
</li>
<li>Upgrade heating so the hall can be used year round
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any funds raised beyond our target will go directly into further improvement projects, helping future proof the hall for everyone who relies on it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>A moment for the community to give back</strong>
</div>
<div>Many people in Alsager and beyond have a guiding origin story:
</div>
<ul>
<li>You may have been a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Ranger, or volunteer.
</li>
<li>You may have a daughter, sister, or friend who was.
</li>
<li>Your connection may be local or from further afield.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This hall represents decades of shared memories, skills learned, friendships formed, and confidence built.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now it needs the community that shaped it to step forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation helps keep this space open, safe, and available for the next generation.
