<div>Thanks to the incredible generosity of local community groups, members of the public, parents and friends of Girlguiding Alsager, we are delighted to share some fantastic news: we have raised enough funds to replace the three flat roofs on the Guide Hall!

<div>This is a huge milestone for Girlguiding Alsager and a wonderful achievement for our whole community. We simply could not have reached this point without the kindness, generosity and support of so many people.

<div>Now, we’re making our final push.
</div>

</div>
<div>We still need to raise the remaining funds to replace the pitched roof and complete this vital project. Reaching our final target will mean we can secure the future of our Guide Hall for generations of girls to come.

<div>The damage is active.
</div>
<div>The risk grows with every storm.

<div>This hall has served Alsager for 50 years. It is now at the stage where we need to act to keep it serving Alsager for the years to come.

<div>We are part of Girlguiding, supporting girls and young women to grow in confidence and find their voice. Locally, more than 200 members aged 4 to adulthood use this hall every week during term time. Everything we do is led by volunteers.

<div>The hall is not only used by Girlguiding.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is a shared community space, used week in, week out by:

<li>Fitness and wellbeing classes
</li>
<li>Art and creative groups
</li>
<li>Local organisations needing an accessible meeting space
</li>
</ul>

<div>It is also a well used venue for overnight residential stays, welcoming Girlguiding units from the local area and from across the UK.

<div>This building supports the whole community.

<div><strong>The problem we face today</strong>

<li>There is little or no insulation beneath it
</li>
<li>The heating system is inefficient and costly
</li>
<li>Continued leaks risk damage to the building and its use
</li>
