<div>Newt is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler with the biggest heart, the sweetest smile, and believes every person he meets is his new best friend.

<div>Two weeks ago, I found a mass growing in the back of his mouth and immediately rushed him to the vet. After a biopsy and tests, we learned the heartbreaking news that Newt has cancer. It’s aggressive, and it’s already affecting his ability to eat and be comfortable.

<div><strong>He has multiple oncology appointments set up this week, and he’ll need a CT scan and intensive treatment right away to give him a real chance.</strong>

<div>I am doing everything in my power to get him the care he needs, but the medical bills are already more than I can manage alone.

<div>Newt isn’t “just a dog.” He’s my family. He has been there for me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and now I’m determined to be there for him.
