<div>We’ve known each other since childhood — from our very first days in kindergarten and all the way through school. While life took us in different directions for a time, in recent years we’ve grown close again, and I’ve come to admire her strength and resilience more than ever.

<div>Galyna is a loving wife and a devoted mother to a little girl named Bohdana. Over the past decade, she has already battled cancer twice — and won. But now, for the third time, she is facing a much more aggressive and complex diagnosis: triple-negative infiltrative carcinoma in both breasts, alongside a BRCA1 genetic mutation. This is not just a recurrence — it’s a whole new battle.

<div>She has already undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and treatments, and now doctors are recommending another year-long targeted therapy (Olaparib) and potentially six more rounds of chemotherapy with Paclitaxel and Carboplatin. All of this comes at an overwhelming cost — more than $50,000 — an unthinkable amount for an ordinary family living in Kyiv, especially during wartime.

<div>Galyna’s body is tired, but her spirit is still holding on. Not for herself, but for her daughter. Bohdana is still so young — she needs her mother. And Galyna desperately wants to live, to raise her child, to be there for the milestones that matter most.
