<div>Help Save a Gamila Life: A Fighter Against All Odds
</div>
<div>Update January 20, 2026 - Gamila’s Treatment Is Working — But It Must Continue
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We wanted to share an important update on Gamila’s condition and why this fundraiser is still urgently needed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After beginning treatment in Egypt three months ago, Gamila has shown remarkable improvement. From being unable to walk, eat, or even sit up, she has regained strength, appetite, and mobility. Her doctors estimate her condition has improved by nearly 95%, something we were told was unlikely when she was first diagnosed with stage four breast cancer that had spread to her spine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This progress has only been possible because treatment has been continuous. The doctors have been very clear: stopping now would put her life at serious risk. To ensure a full recovery and prevent relapse, Gamila must continue the same treatment for a full year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cost of treatment is over $1,200 USD per month, which is far beyond what we can manage alone. With your help, we were able to secure the first months of care. Now, we are asking for support again so Gamila can complete the treatment that is saving her life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gamila survived the war in Gaza, delayed diagnosis, and a devastating prognosis. She and her husband Aboud are holding onto hope — but they cannot do this without help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Medical reports and imaging from Egyptian hospitals are available, and we are committed to full transparency.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing. Every contribution, comment, and prayer helps keep Gamila’s treatment going.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with her.
</div>
<div>Gamila story is one of survival, resilience, and the constant struggle for life
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At 35, she was supposed to be at the best of times. She had just married the love of her life, Aboud. Their marriage was a new beginning, full of dreams and aspirations for a shared future. But just three weeks later, war broke out and shattered everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Amid the devastation that swept through Gaza, survival became the only priority. Bombs fell around them, and one came close to ending her life when a rocket hit the building they were living in. But, miraculously, the rocket did not explode. Jamila had been given a second chance at life, but the real battle was just beginning
</div>
<div>Months into the war, Gamila began experiencing unexplained weakness in her legs. At first, she thought it was just fatigue, but soon walking became a struggle. The simplest daily tasks became unbearable challenges. In Gaza, where the health system had collapsed, there was no way to know what was happening. There were no biopsies, no adequate tests, just X-rays that showed nothing. As the war raged around them, Jamila’s illness worsened. There was no hope in Gaza, but in April, five months after she first felt the problem, Gamila was able to leave Gaza with the help of Aboud and his friends. But the truth they discovered in Egypt was devastating: stage four breast cancer. The disease had spread rapidly, affecting her spine, leaving her unable to move or eat, and her weight had dropped to 25 kilograms. The doctors were clear in their prognosis: her case was hopeless.
</div>
<div>But her husband Aboud did not give up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He searched hard, seeking any opportunity, any glimmer of hope. Here he met a doctor in Egypt who told him that Gamila could be cured with the right treatment. The cost of the treatment was expensive, reaching more than $1,200 a month, but with the help of friends and family, they were able to raise enough money to start treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In just three months, Gamila began to improve amazingly. She regained her strength, her ability to eat, and her ability to move. Her body responded unexpectedly to the treatment, as her condition improved by 95%. With this great improvement, they were able to secure treatment for another two months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, as for the future, the doctor told them that the treatment would have to continue for a whole year to ensure a complete recovery, which would represent a huge financial burden.
</div>
<div>Gamila has survived the war, and the illness that seemed inevitable. Now, she desperately needs your help to continue her treatment and get back to the life she dreamed of with her husband Aboud.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>En sólo tres meses, Gamila comenzó a mejorar notablemente.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
