<div> Unfortunately a few months before Teddy’s 5th Birthday he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of medulloblastoma, pediatric <b>brain cancer.

After a CT scan
We was given the <b>devastating news</b> that Teddy needed <b>emergency brain surgery</b> for a mass, in the back of his brain, and after what felt like a very long wait, for pathology we was told he had metatastic brain cancer.

<b>Medulloblastoma grade 4 </b>with MYC amplification large cell anaplastic.
one of the worst most aggressive forms of pediatric brain cancer, and it had already extensively spread throughout his spine, brain and CSF fluid.

<div> That’s why we’re <b>fundraising</b> to take <b>Teddy</b> to the <b>United</b> <b>States</b> to join a new <b>trial</b> using DFMO <b>drugs</b> to treat high-risk Medulloblastoma.

It’s a two-year programme at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, <b>Pennsylvania</b> and has shown promising results in <b>helping</b> <b>children</b> with high-risk <b>cancers</b> like Teddy’s stay in <b>remission</b>.

He’s already been accepted on a preliminary basis that his scans stay stable…however our only <b>barrier</b> now is <b>funding</b>.

<div> The total cost — including medical <b>treatment</b>, ongoing <b>tests</b> and <b>scans</b>, <b>travel</b>, <b>insurances</b> and <b>accommodation</b> — is estimated to be at least <b>£200,000.</b>

We <b>only</b> have <b>60days</b> left for Teddy to be allowed into the trial. Once 60 days is up unfortunately this won’t be available to Teddy anymore. If his cancer relapses it is likely that he will not survive. <br />
