I’m Sarah, and I’m asking for help for my household as we go through a very difficult time. Right now, I am unable to work because I am my elderly mother’s full-time caregiver. She has severe Crohn’s disease, suffered a massive stroke, and has lost most of her vision, so it is very hard and unsafe for me to leave her alone. At the same time, I also have to walk my child to school every morning because we do not have a car. My husband recently lost his job after a severe medical emergency and is not able to work right now, so our family is facing an ongoing loss of income while our caregiving needs continue every day.

The funds from this fundraiser will help us keep up with rent and electricity while we manage these challenges. These are not just one-time bills for us, but continuing monthly needs while I care for my mother and my husband recovers. Predictable support, including recurring donations, would help us stay more stable from month to month as we try to keep a roof over our heads and the lights on. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and would make a real difference for our family. Any help, support, or sharing of this fundraiser means so much to us during this time. Thank you for caring about my family.
