<div>My name is Dalton Ferron, also known as <strong>Brammy</strong>, and together with my wife Sylvia Ferron, we have proudly run Brammies Caribbean Takeaway in <strong>Nechells</strong>, <strong>Birmingham</strong> for over ten years. We have served our local community delicious <strong>Jamaican</strong> food, sharing warmth, love, and a taste of home without ever asking for anything in return.

<div>Today, however, we’re asking for your help.

<div>Our beloved country, <strong>Jamaica</strong>, has been devastated by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, leaving many parts of the island, especially in western Jamaica, severely damaged. While most relief efforts are rightly being directed to those areas, our home parishes of <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Catherine</strong>, particularly rural <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Catherine</strong>, have also been badly affected and are still waiting for help to reach them.

<div>In these rural areas, families have lost homes, roofs, crops, clothing, and access to clean water. Many are without electricity and phone service. Landslides, flooding, and road blockages have left people isolated and in urgent need of support.

<div>That is why we have decided to act.
</div>

<div>Together with our relatives, the Edwards family, and the whole Brammies staff team, we are raising funds and collecting supplies for the following affected communities: <strong>Seafield</strong>, <strong>Top</strong> <strong>Mountain</strong>, <strong>John</strong> <strong>Crow</strong> <strong>Spring</strong>, <strong>Pear</strong> <strong>Tree</strong> <strong>Grove</strong>, <strong>Dunkell</strong>, <strong>Montgrave</strong>, <strong>Rose</strong> <strong>Hill</strong>, <strong>Lodge</strong>, <strong>Buck</strong> <strong>Up</strong>, <strong>Burton</strong>, <strong>New</strong> <strong>Mountain</strong>, and <strong>Dry</strong> <strong>River</strong>, all located in rural <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Catherine</strong> and <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Mary</strong>.

<div>All funds raised will go directly to the people in these communities to help with replacing and repairing roofs, providing clothing, food, and clean water, and supplying bedding, household goods, and school materials for children.

<div>We will be travelling to <strong>Jamaica</strong> personally to clear these donations from customs and hand-deliver them to families in need. Every donation will go directly to the affected people to ensure it reaches those who need it most.

<div>If you would prefer to donate items instead of money, we are also collecting the following:

<div> Non-perishable food items such as tinned food, rice, and pasta
