 Rhys lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he works as a baker. Like many of us, he lives paycheck to paycheck, often struggling to pay rent every month. All while living with disability from chronic pain and nerve damage.

 This doesn’t stop him from being one of the most talented, smart, caring, funny, and just absolutely wonderful people I’ve ever met. Being his friend for the past ten years has been one of the greatest privileges in my life, and I know all of Rhys’ friends would agree.

 <strong>WHY I’M HERE</strong>

 Rhys was diagnosed with “<strong>Advanced Periodontal Disease</strong>.” It’s a severe infectious disease that destroys bone and tissue in the mouth, and leads to bacterial infection in the heart and bloodstream.

 It’s a scary situation, but it can be treated. Treatment involves a mix of deep cleanings and medical procedures due to the extensive damage it causes.
</div>

</div>
<div>
 An extensive procedure like this of course does not come cheap, and Rhys does not have the insurance to help cover for it.
</div>
