<div><strong>What Happened</strong>
</div>
<div>Hurricane Melissa struck our community in Westmoreland, Jamaica with devastating force. Our beloved family home — built by our Father and Mother who passed it down to our family — was severely damaged. The roof was torn off, furniture and fixtures were destroyed, and the structure was left exposed to the elements.
</div>
<div>But we are grateful. We still have our lives. And now, we are determined to rebuild.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>More Than a Home — A Pillar of the Community</strong>
</div>
<div>Our home isn’t just where we live — it’s where the community comes together.
</div>
<div>Right in front of the house, our brother Dania runs a small shop that serves many roles: a store, a meeting place, a makeshift classroom, and now, a hub for community cleanup. It’s where neighbors borrow tools, share ideas, and receive meals and water donated by those who can help.
</div>
<div>We’re doing what Jamaicans have always done — looking out for each other in times of need. When someone needs a hot meal or a helping hand, they know they can come to our spot.
</div>
<div>This space has long been a place to gather, talk, and dream about building a stronger community. Our family has always opened its doors to others. Now, we’re asking for help to keep those doors open.

<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div>We’re raising $10,000 to cover:
</div>
<div>- Roof replacement - the old zinc roof was destroyed by<strong> 185 MPH winds. </strong>We want to replace it with a slab roof and fortify the foundation.
</div>
<div>- Basic furniture and fixtures.
</div>
<div>- Structural repairs to make the home livable again.
</div>
<div>- Restoring the shop. The roof was also damaged, and we are determined to get it back to a condition where Dania can continue serving the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation — no matter the size — brings us closer to restoring not just a house, but a home and a hub of hope.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>A Message from Our Family</strong>
</div>
<div>We know we are not the only ones impacted. So many families across Jamaica are hurting right now. We pray that they too will find the strength and support to rebuild.
</div>
<div><strong>Jamaicans are survivors.</strong> We are strong, we are proud, and we will thrive once again.
