<div>Black ice has already claimed another victim this year. Fortunately, it was just my car. I was lucky enough to come out unscathed, and no one else was involved in the accident.

<div>All in all I am grateful that the extent of the damage was limited to my vehicle. On the downside, it has taken my car out of commission as the axel broke among other damages.

<div>According to the mechanic, we are currently looking at a $3,100 repair. Between my savings and the help of those near and dear to me, we have been able to collect enough to whittle that down to around $1000. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to everyone that has been able to assist thus far.

<div>With the end goal in sight, I could use a little help getting that final push to put my car back on the road. If you or those you know would be willing to lend a helping hand and spare a few dollars, I would be immensely grateful. I ask that you only donate what you can, IF you can. Thank you 1000 times over.
