During a vulnerable period of my life (recovering from an unexpected major medical event, coping with the shock of retirement and the bombardment and harassments from Medicare promotions), I was sideswiped by the financial opportunity to secure my future. By mail, I was alerted that I was a winner of two grand prizes, I was stunned!! Sometime, after its receipt was a phone call confirming my "good fortune." These winnings came with "strings attached", the payments of sales and luxury taxes had to be paid prior to receiving the winnings. I was shocked by the amount owed.
