<div>We would also like to clarify that the Eel Skinners and Duck Pluckers BNS Ball is a non-for-profit community event organisation. 100% of all donations raised through this GoFundMe will go directly back into rebuilding the Carranballac Recreation Reserve.

<div>We are now working closely with the council and the CFA to begin the process of clearing the site. As you can imagine, this is a huge and complex job, with many trees deemed unsafe and requiring careful planning for their removal. While this stage may take some time, it is an essential and important step forward.

<div>The recent bushfire has completely destroyed the Carranballac Recreation Reserve a place that for generations has been the centre of our small but proud community. This reserve is more than grass and buildings. It is where friendships were formed, kids learned to play sport, volunteers gave their time, community events were held, and proud traditions were kept alive.
