Hurricane Helene has left a significant mark on our lives, as two massive pine trees crashed into our home, impaling the brick wall of the room where we sleep. The damage is extensive, and we are in urgent need of support to make our home safe and livable again. 
 
 
 Compounding the situation, we hired a company to start the repairs, but they lacked the proper credentials, leading to a failed code inspection. Now, we are faced with the daunting task of fixing these issues ourselves, without the necessary funds to do so. This setback has made an already difficult situation even more challenging. 
 
 
 The funds raised will be used to remove the fallen trees, repair the structural damage to our home, and ensure that our family has a safe place to sleep. We are also facing the immediate need for temporary housing while these repairs are underway.
