<div>Hello everyone, my name is Donesha Robinson. As you all know, <strong>Hurricane Melissa has left damaging effects on the western parts of Jamaica.</strong> My hometown, New Works, Westmoreland, is completely devastated and has left most of the community homeless and without food or supplies. Places where I walked and played as a child are unrecognizable. The people of Westmoreland are suffering and are in dire need.

<div>As a people, we pride ourselves in building our home from scratch, some folks often working their whole lives just to own a piece of their community. Many people depend on farms and livestock as a source of income.

<div>Many folks are left without a roof over their head, beds to sleep on, or know where their next meal is coming from.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m looking to partner with local churches/organizations in my hometown community to be a helping hand to those in need during this difficult time.

<div>I have yet to reach in contact with my brother and a few other family members due to the power outages, but my family and I are holding the faith.
