<div>In the early morning of Sunday, September 14th, <strong>my sister and nephew were attacked by their husband/father while they slept.</strong> After the attack, my brother-in-law stole the family car and fled the scene. Traveling at high speeds, he ultimately crashed and passed away at the crash site. My nephew was stabbed and slashed multiple times, while my sister received several cuts and bruises all over her body. While they are both now physically stable, they have a tremendously long road ahead of them before they are able to make a full mental and emotional recovery.
