<div>Hurricane Erick hit Barra de la Cruz hard - and Jairo’s beloved campground La Joya and cabanas suffered severe damage. The storm destroyed the brand new palapa they were building, wiped out essential construction materials, and even ruined their family truck. To make matters worse, while they focus on rebuilding, they won’t be able to host guests - meaning their only source of income is temporarily gone.
