<div>On Sunday, March 8, 2026, a devastating fire broke out in a vape shop on Union Street, right next to Glasgow Central Station. What started as a small flame quickly exploded – witnesses heard blasts from exploding batteries – and engulfed the entire four-storey historic building, causing parts of it to collapse. Over 30 small businesses were wiped out, including tattoo studios, nail techs, hair salons, and my good friend Rafal Kwiatkowski barbershop, Dintojra.

<div>Dintojra was his dream – a cozy spot where he built a loyal community of clients with top cuts and vibes. He lost everything: clippers, chairs, mirrors, products, even personal tools he’d saved up for years. No insurance covers it all, and with the building gone, he’s got no place to work and bills piling up. This wasn’t just a shop; it was his livelihood and passion, supporting his family in Glasgow.
