<div>Our friend Carl has lost his home in the recent wildfire in Penamacor, Central Portugal. Left with nothing but the clothes on his back.

<div>He has not asked us for this help but the fire truly consumed everything he owned &amp; he is a person very dear to our community, a good friend for many years.
</div>

<div>He has built this place with his hands &amp; his heart for the last 10 years, working so hard to care for the land &amp; has lost everything, including all of the possessions he &amp; his partner had inside the house.
</div>

<div>Luckily they managed to escape the fire with the 2 horses but the house has been destroyed &amp; left structurally unsound because of pressure created inside the building.
</div>

<div>We have started this page to help raise funds for them to restart their life &amp; get back on their feet after this tragic event.
</div>
<div>We are grateful for anything you can give at this difficult moment. Together with the funds raised here &amp; physical support from the community in our area we will help them to start again.

<div>O nosso amigo Carl perdeu a sua casa no recente incêndio florestal em Penamacor, no centro de Portugal. Ficou sem nada, apenas com a roupa que tinha vestida.
</div>
<div>Ele não nos pediu ajuda, mas ficou realmente sem nada e é uma pessoa muito querida pela nossa comunidade.
</div>
<div>Ele construiu este lugar com as suas próprias mãos e o seu coração nos últimos 10 anos, trabalhando arduamente para cuidar da terra e perdeu tudo, incluindo todos os bens que ele e a sua companheira tinham dentro da casa.
</div>
<div>Felizmente conseguiram escapar do incêndio com os dois cavalos, mas a casa foi consumida e ficou estruturalmente instável devido à pressão criada no interior do edifício.ESTAMOS A REUNIR DONATIVOS PARA QUE POSSAM REOMEÇAR AS SUAS VIDAS
