<div>My family, Rachel and Ken Niskanen, <strong>found themselves stranded in Israel during a war with no way home after flying there to visit their daughter.</strong> While visiting, Israel and Iran hostilities escalated, and Israel closed the airspace cancelling all flights. Tourists, like my family, have been told to prepare for an extended stay because no one knows how long this situation will last or how long it will take for them to become eligible for a flight out.
