After recently joining the organization in their weekly food distribution, I noticed how many unhoused members of the community were without gloves. It is below freezing weather, and with thin, knitted gloves myself, I was very cold. One thing more unbearable than the cold itself for me, was the fact that others around me had no easy access to gloves in this freezing weather. I would be back inside within a few hours, but what of those who had no shelter?
