<div>Pat Phillips has served the marine community of Marin for 40+ years, helping countless customers with their boat maintenance and repair needs. But at 4:00 a.m. on March 16, 2025, his ability to serve this community came to a sudden and devastating halt.

<div>While Pat was out of town, a burglar broke into Surgin Marine Services, stealing valuable tools before setting fire to the building. The blaze-fueled by gas cans brought to the scene — completely destroyed the structure.

<div>Everything was lost:

<li>Pat's specialized machine shop equipment, his hand tools, customer motors and drives, and the place he'd worked from for decades were destroyed.

<li>Even more heartbreaking is that the building and its contents were uninsured.
