<div>If you know Pam, then you know how much she gives of herself to her family, friends, neighbors, work and students - all of herself and then some! I am coming to you to ask if you could kindly send some love her way. She is dealing with recovering from a knee replacement that has had complication after complication - so much so that she has run out of her 12 weeks of allowed FMLA leave and is now on temporary disability leave and in a financial bind. She is hoping to return to work soon. In the meantime, I am personally reaching out to ask you to please consider giving what you can to help support her in her time of need.

<div>Here is a recent timeline of her events:

<li>August 16 - Knee replacement

</li>

<li>September 19 - Saw infection on knee

</li>

<li>September 20 - Emergency surgery /Diagnosis staph infection

</li>

<li>September 20 - 5 day hospital stay

</li>

<li>September 20 - Started 24/7 - Wound vac &amp; picc line (iv antibiotics)

</li>

<li>September 25 - ER visit #1: pump filled with blood

</li>

<li>September 29 -ER visit #2: blood clot detected

</li>

<li>October 5 - ER visit #3: sterile dressing replaced

</li>

<li>October 10 - Post-op appt: wound not healed

</li>

<li>October 24 -MSSA staph infection detected and yet another change of antibiotics

</li>

<li>Nov 7 - Necrotic tissue diagnosis and 3 different strains of staph detected

</li>

<li>Dec 1- Incision/wound from September 20th surgery still not healed

</li>

<li>Has had a total of 40+ medical appointments and counting (CT, MRI, , sonogram, EKG, cardiogram, lab work, outpatient and inpatient physical therapy, home healthcare nurse visits, and more)

<div>Additionally she has started TDL (Temporary Disability Leave). Retroactive to Aug. 16th. 180 days total. In September she received 67% of her monthly salary, October 62%of salary and in November only 38% of her salary. December salary will be even lower.
