<div>So a while ago, I genuinely do not remember, time has lost all meaning, I had to have emergency surgery on my ankle because I broke two bones, ruptured a ligament, and popped the ball of my foot out of its socket, and it refused to stay put after two different doctors tried to put it back in—and wasn’t that fun.

<div>So the ankle has healed up about 70%. I was hoping for a better recovery than that. At the moment, I can’t even walk on uneven ground. I cannot mow my yard, and I still hurt a lot of the time. My surgeon thinks my ankle is reacting to the metal in there, and it’s causing inflammation, so we are doing another surgery to remove it.

<div>I don’t get sick leave, and I have to take at least two weeks off.

<div>Anyway, thanks to our parents, we just, finally, climbed out from the debt for the six months when I wasn’t working. We’d really like to keep our heads above water this time around. So if you can give, please do. I don’t make much, but I do what I can. So if you could step in and help, I’d appreciate it.
