<div>Our beautiful Kaitlyn is 31 years old. She's a wife, a sister, a daughter, an auntie, a friend — and right now, she's fighting for her life.

<div>A few months ago, Kaitlyn started getting migraines. Then she couldn't shift any weight no matter what she did. Then came the bloating and the pain in her stomach — the kind of pain that wouldn't go away. Within the space of just a few months, our world has been turned upside down.

<div>Kaitlyn has been diagnosed with <strong>Stage 4 aggressive cancer.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>It's a cancer so rare that only <strong>1% of cancer patients ever face it</strong>. Specialists around the world have never seen anything quite like it. Her oncologists at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney are currently consulting with cancer experts in <strong>Germany and across the globe</strong> to try to piece together a treatment plan for her.

<div>The cancer covers her <strong>entire abdomen</strong> in a painful tumour. It has spread to her <strong>lung</strong>, possibly her <strong>breast</strong>, into her <strong>lymph nodes</strong>, and a small spot has been found on her <strong>brain</strong>. She's already had multiple biopsies, fluid drained from her abdomen, iron infusions, and treatment for blood clots in her lungs.

<div>She's a <strong>website designer and digital marketer</strong> — talented, hardworking, building her career. She had so many plans. So many places still to see. So many years ahead.
