<div>On Thursday evening, August 14th, 2025, Coach Mario’s life changed forever. While at a boxing gym in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood, an argument escalated into violence, and my father was shot multiple times during what should have been a safe training environment.

<div>What Happened

</div>

<div>On that evening, two kids from the gym were sparring when the father of one of the children began trash talking and using vulgar language. My father, being the responsible trainer he is, confronted the man and told him not to speak vulgarly in front of the kids or he could leave.

</div>

<div>This simple request to maintain respect around children escalated into a violent confrontation. The man retrieved a gun and shot my father six times. He sustained serious gunshot wounds and was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

<div>The Road Ahead

</div>

<div>The medical bills are mounting, and we don't know how long his recovery will take. My father has always been dedicated to fitness and the boxing community - a place that should have been safe became the scene of this senseless violence. He faces:

</div>

<div>* Extensive medical treatment and rehabilitation

</div>

<div>* Multiple surgeries and procedures

</div>

<div>* Long-term physical therapy

</div>

<div>* Lost income during his recovery period

</div>

<div>* Ongoing medical expenses

</div>

<div>How You Can Help

</div>

<div>Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward:

</div>

<div>* Hospital bills and medical expenses

</div>

<div>* Rehabilitation and physical therapy costs

</div>

<div>* Living expenses while he recovers

</div>

<div>* Ensuring he gets the best possible care

</div>

<div>About My Father

</div>

<div>My father is a pillar of our community who has always believed in the power of sports and fitness to bring people together. He doesn't deserve what happened to him, and our family is devastated by this random act of violence.

</div>

<div>Our Gratitude

</div>

<div>We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and even strangers who have heard our story. Your kindness during this difficult time means everything to us.

</div>

<div>Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Together, we can help my father focus on healing instead of worrying about the financial burden this tragedy has created.

</div>

<div>Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

</div>

<div>Updates will be posted regularly as we navigate this journey together.

</div>

</div>

<div>All funds will be used exclusively for medical expenses and recovery costs. We are grateful for any amount you can contribute
