<div>Our family has recently received heartbreaking news—our dad, a proud U.S. Army veteran and devoted grandfather, has been diagnosed with both prostate cancer and a rare, aggressive form of cancer called leiomyosarcoma.

<div>After undergoing initial testing in Savannah, doctors confirmed the tumor is not a GIST, but a leiomyosarcoma. His case has now been referred to specialists at Emory University in Atlanta, where they’re working to determine whether the tumor is growing from a major artery or from his intestine—both of which make treatment and surgery extremely complex and high-risk.

<div>This journey has been incredibly overwhelming—emotionally, physically, and financially. Between ongoing testing, long-distance travel to specialists, and time away from work, the burden is heavy for our family.
