<div>Since 2008, Leema Rescue has saved and rehomed <strong>over 400 animals</strong>, mostly dogs. But in 2025, we expanded our hearts and our mission—rescuing our very first <strong>orphaned lamb</strong>. Since then, we've helped over <strong>20 livestock animals</strong>, and rehomed <strong>15 lambs</strong> into loving pet homes.

<div>Right now, we have <strong>four lambs</strong> in care, including Minister—a stoic little soul who’s required <strong>over $1000 in vet care in a single week</strong>.

<div>Our total lamb-related expenses this season have now reached <strong>$5001</strong>, and with lambing season still underway, we know there are many more vulnerable babies on the way.

<div><strong>✨ Meet Hannah ✨</strong>
</div>
<div>Hannah was found alone in a paddock—cold, weak, and barely able to stand. Within 8 hours of coming into care, she stopped drinking and was rushed to the vet on <strong>Easter Sunday</strong>.
</div>

</div>
<div>She spent nearly a week receiving intramuscular antibiotics and round-the-clock care. On <strong>Easter Monday</strong>, she stood up by herself—and we cried tears of joy.
</div>

</div>
<div>Hannah made a full recovery and has since been adopted into a loving home. She’s one of 15 lambs we’ve helped place this season—but many more Hannahs still need us.
</div>

<div>Lambs are fragile and expensive to raise. Many come to us cold, malnourished, or sick. Just one can cost hundreds in formula, vet visits, bedding, and transport.

<div>And there’s more to come—we’re still in lambing season.

<div>To provide the best care possible, we’re building a dedicated <strong>Lamb ICU Shed</strong>—with power, water, concrete, and safe internal paneling. We still need over <strong>$15,000</strong> to complete this vital infrastructure project.
