<div>My name is Nick Armijo - a husband, father, grandfather, and ICU nurse. For 29 years, I've had the honor of caring for my community during the most difficult times of their lives. I've held hands, offered comfort, and prayed with families that were hurting. It is a gift from God how He has molded my heart to care for others.

<div>Now, unexpectedly, I find myself on the other side of that experience.

<div><strong>I was recently diagnosed with extraskeletal osteosarcoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer.</strong> I've been referred to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for specialized treatment. Since November, I have been unable to work. My wife has been supporting us while we also withdrew from our retirement accounts to stay afloat.

<div>The expense of three trips to Phoenix has taken a toll financially. Hotel rooms, rental cars, meals, and medical bills add up quickly. With many more appointments, radiation, and surgery, the financial strain is overwhelming.
