<div>I met Samson some years ago, while working in Kenya between 2017 and <strong>2019</strong>, and we’ve stayed close friends ever since.

<div>He is one of the <strong>kindest, most selfless people</strong> I know — always helping others in his community, even when he has little himself, living in the Kibera slum in Nairobi back then, and as a subsistence farmer next to the Kakamega Forest National Reserve now.

<div>Now, he’s the one who needs <strong>our help</strong>.

<div>Samson has <strong>5 children</strong>, and he also took care of <strong>2 foster kids</strong>.

<div>His <strong>eldest son </strong>recently became the <strong>first in their extended family to graduate from college </strong>— a huge milestone that filled Samson with pride.

<div>He’s a<strong> loving father, a loyal friend, and a gentle soul</strong> who has touched so many lives.

<div>Samson urgently needs an <strong>operation </strong>to remove the tumor from his liver and <strong>medication </strong>to recover.
</div>
<div>The total cost is <strong>882,000 Kenyan shillings (around €6,000)</strong>.
</div>
<div>I’ve already arranged and paid for a <strong>premium insurance policy</strong>, which cut the cost nearly in half — <strong>from more than €11,000</strong> — but Samson and his family can’t afford the remaining amount.
