<div>My daughter, her husband, and their three beautiful children are facing a heartbreaking financial setback after my oldest grandson, age 7, became seriously ill and needed extensive after care.

<div>A couple of months ago, my oldest grandson was suddenly hospitalized and required extra care.

<div>With two younger children at home — ages 3½ and 1½, one of them with special needs — my son-in-law had no choice but to take time off work to be there for his family.

<div>He took FMLA, but the reduced income barely covered their most basic costs. I flew in to help for a month, doing everything I could to support them. But like many families living paycheck to paycheck, losing nearly two months of income caused a huge financial setback.

<div>My daughter is a stay-at-home mom who homeschools her children, pouring her whole heart into raising them. Her husband works tirelessly to provide for them.
</div>

<div>They are active in church, always serving others, and give their children an abundance of love, attention, and faith.
</div>

<div>Now, they’ve fallen behind on bills and are struggling to cover rent, utilities, and the children’s needs.

<div>As a mom, it breaks my heart to see them in this position. I am no longer in a place where I can give them everything they need, and my mother and I have helped as much as we possibly can. But it’s not enough to get them caught up.
