After interning with these students in 2nd grade, I’ve seen firsthand how bright, motivated, and caring they are. Furthermore, over 50% of Baltimore City Public School systems’ students and family populations are economically disadvantaged and face challenges related to academic achievement and resource allocation, particularly in comparison to other districts in Maryland.
