<div><strong>Monique Crawford is a multiracial African-Caribbean actor and multidisciplinary artist from Fairfield, California, who has just been accepted into the prestigious Linklater Teaching Practice MFA Program at Rose Bruford College in England.</strong> This unique two-year graduate program will allow Monique to earn both an MFA in Acting and become a Designated Linklater Teacher, combining the teachings of Kristin Linklater and Augusto Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed. Monique is deeply passionate about using theater as a tool for societal change and has dedicated her career to telling stories that uplift Black women and femmes, especially through new works in the Bay Area.

The stage has been a place of truth and fellowship for Monique and her community, providing a safe haven where unfiltered stories can be told despite the challenges facing the arts.
