<div>Hello, my name is Michells. I’m Venezuelan, and I came to the United States seeking safety. Unfortunately, my asylum case was dismissed, and I now have to return to Venezuela on December 11th.

<div>What hurts the most is that I don’t want to leave my cats behind—my two little babies whom I rescued when they were only two months old. They have been my family, my emotional support, and my comfort through the hardest moments of this journey.

</div>

<div>But the costs for their vaccines, paperwork, and airline fees are extremely high, and I simply can’t afford everything on my own right now.

</div>

</div>

<div>That’s why I’m turning to this community with humility.

</div>

<div>Any help, no matter how small, brings me closer to bringing my cats safely home with me. They depend on me completely, and the thought of leaving them is heartbreaking.
