<div>In January 2025, my life took a dramatic turn. I was rushed to hospital and things got pretty crazy. Thankfully, I was saved by an incredible medical team and placed on dialysis, an exhausting and time-consuming treatment that filters my blood because my kidneys no longer can - ultimately keeping me alive.

<div>Since then, life has been a constant cycle of hospital visits, appointments, medication, and learning on the job to get healthy enough to get by. Dialysis is not a cure - it just ensures I stay alive until I can get a kidney transplant.

<div>But here’s the catch: the public transplant waitlist is 3-6+ years long…
