<div>*** If you’re coming to see this from megan’s other friend who posted this on reddit, this is NOT a scam. Megan is a very hardworking mom who is going through a devastating time and we are just friends trying to help her by getting her story out there. Shame on every single person on the reddit thread who spoke negatively*** If you’re here and you’re supporting or sharing, her and her boys appreciate your kindness very much &amp; all donations besides the fees that are taken from the gofundme will go toward fixing her house. This is the first time I have ever created a go fund me, so forgive me if everything about this post is not perfect here is a link to my friends tiktok where she explains more and has more pictures of the damage/rebuild/tear down process. <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8MBuk64/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8MBuk64/</a>

<div>Megan, a devoted single mom of two boys under 7, is facing an unimaginable crisis. Last year, a fire broke out in her home, turning their lives upside down. Thankfully, they were unharmed, but the damage was extensive. Megan received insurance money and used it to hire a contractor to repair the damage, but the contractor failed to pull the proper permits and left the home in a dangerous condition. Everything had to be ripped out, and the reconstruction process had to start over, costing her valuable time, emotional energy, and financial stability.

<div>Megan is now living in a temporary rental with her boys, out thousands of dollars paid to the previous contractor, and facing extensive reconstruction and legal fees. Insurance will not cover the damage done by the contractor.

<div>Despite these challenges, Megan has shown unbelievable strength and resilience, trying to maintain a sense of normalcy for her children by replacing toys and clothes, working, and taking them to school.

<div>We are rallying together to raise funds to help Megan cover urgent home reconstruction costs, pay mounting legal fees, and provide a stable living situation for her kids during this overwhelming time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you can’t give, please share this with others who may be able to help. Let’s show Megan and her boys that they’re not alone. Thank you for your kindness and support.
