His cruciate ligaments are breaking down, and without the necessary surgery, he will experience permanent pain and instability in his knees. If he doesn’t get the surgery, he won’t be able to live a pain-free life, and we’ll sadly have to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put down within the next three-four months.
