<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div>I am in need of some community assistance to help my girl get on stage for her first major performance!
</div>
<div>Nila has been wanting to get on stage and perform for quite awhile now, however I have had to put this on hold because it’s quite a bit of a financial strain for me. Some of you may know that I’m a full time graduate student (graduate in May!) and I manage all parenting responsibilities on my own (pray for my partner to arrive soon!)
</div>
<div>It really does take a village and that’s where I’m hoping you all can come in *hug*
</div>
<div>My hope is that she can perform hip hop in “The Nutcracker” this year without it causing too much financial stress, because Lord knows I already have enough regular stress *sigh*
</div>
<div>It would mean the world for both of us to receive any and all help
</div>
<div>Here is a breakdown of the fees:
</div>
<div>$75 showcase fee
</div>
<div>$50 admin fee
</div>
<div>$95 costume fee
</div>
<div>$128 x 3 months of classes (Oct, Nov, and Dec)
</div>
<div>Total: $604
</div>
<div>This doesn’t include the yearly registration fee or ticket prices (yes we have to pay to attend the show smh), so my hope is that I can cover these and receive the remaining balance through the community
</div>
<div>For some of you, this may not even seem like a lot, however for my one woman show, it’s a big bill! Being able to receive this money just gives me huge peace of mind and allows me some breathing room (phew). It also helps me from ruminating on whether I made the best decision and keeps me from resenting the whole thing...let’s be real!
</div>
<div>Sooo yea, thank youuuuuu for all your help! Any amount is perfect! Thank you so much! I sincerely and utterly appreciate it. It really does take a village and I want to be able to give my girl the opportunities she deserves! Thank you!
</div>
<div><em>With Gratitude,</em>
</div>
<div>Brittany and Nila
