<div>After years of struggling with my mental health, I started rebuilding my life through community, sport, and movement. When my dad was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer, and my partner’s dad decided to give his mountain bike race one final shot, it hit me hard: life is short. That’s when I decided to finally pull the trigger and buy the bike.

<div>Since then, cycling became my way back: back to fitness, back to social connection, back to purpose. I threw myself into local rides, races, and events - especially our annual Gears and Beers race, something I looked forward to every year.

<div>Having it stolen so suddenly has been gutting. It wasn’t just a bike.. it symbolised progress, recovery, and the community that helped me get there.
