<div>Drie jaar geleden ben ik (Abby), samen met een dierbare vriendin, begonnen met het waar maken van mijn grootste droom: een privé tattoo studio voor onze community. Een plek waar inclusiviteit centraal staat, en queer en neurodiverse mensen zich welkom kunnen voelen. Helaas loopt het leven soms even anders, en moest mijn partner in crime de keuze maken om tatoeëren achter zich te laten. Sinds haar vertrek heb ik hard gewerkt om de studio, en waar wij voor staan, te blijven voortzetten. Uiteindelijk bleek het te lastig om deze grote ruimte vast te houden, en heb ik de moeilijke keuze gemaakt om de ruimte te verlaten.

<div>Maar ik ben vastberaden deze droom voort te zetten, en daar heb ik jouw hulp bij nodig!

<div>Door geld in te zamelen kan ik een doorstart maken in een kleinere, betaalbare ruimte. Een die ook toegankelijker is voor al mijn (mindervalide) bezoekers, en waar mijn trouwe en nieuwe klanten zich weer thuis kunnen voelen. Een plek die veilig voelt, waar je mag zijn wie je bent, waar ik mijzelf en anderen een kans kan blijven bieden.

<div>Al het opgehaalde geld wordt ingezet voor de nieuwe studio en benodigdheden, denk hierbij aan: vloeren, muren, inrichting, GGD keuringen, huur en het afbetalen van leningen.

<div>Three years ago, I (Abby) set out with a dear friend to make my biggest dream come true: a private tattoo studio for our community. A place where inclusivity is the main focus, and where queer and neurodivergent people can feel welcome. Unfortunately, life sometimes takes unexpected turns, and my partner-in-crime had to make the choice to leave tattooing behind. Since she left, I have worked hard to keep the studio, and the values we stand for, alive. Ultimately, however, holding onto such a large space proved too difficult, and I made the tough decision to leave.

<div>But I am determined to keep this dream alive, and I need your help to do so!
</div>
<div>By raising funds, I can make a fresh start in a smaller, more affordable space. A space that is also more accessible to all my visitors (including those with disabilities) and where both loyal and new clients can feel at home again. A place that feels safe, where you can be exactly who you are, and where I can continue to create new opportunities for myself and others.
