As someone passionate about film, this experience would mean the world to me — not only as a celebration of my hard work, but also as a unique chance to learn, connect, and be inspired.

<div>I created my film with the help and encouragement of the Carlsbad High School Film Academy and my talented peers. The process was one of the most rewarding creative experiences I’ve had so far. Being able to travel to New York—for the first time ever—to see my work on screen and celebrate this achievement (which happens to fall on my birthday!) would be an unforgettable experience.
