<div>Manny is <strong>33 years old</strong>. A husband. A son. A brother. A cousin. A grandson. One of the most loved people in our family.

<div>He is fighting<strong> metastatic kidney cancer</strong>, and after more than a year of treatment, his most recent scan shows an encouraging response. <strong>He needs our help to keep going.</strong>

<div>The funds shown as already raised on this page (~8000 USD) were raised during our previous campaign and were used toward Manny’s earlier treatment and medical expenses. <strong>We are now raising USD 12,000 (approximately ₹10 lakh INR) for his next six months of treatment.</strong>

<div><strong>WHAT YOUR HELP ACHIEVED LAST YEAR</strong>

<div>Last year, so many of you stood beside our family when we first reached out with nothing but fear and hope. You gave when you could. You shared when you couldn’t. You prayed. And it meant everything to us.
</div>

<div><strong>His PET-CT scan on 23 May 2026</strong> showed that the lesion in his remaining kidney had shrunk further. The lung nodules had reduced and showed metabolic resolution. The affected lymph nodes had also shown reduction and metabolic resolution. <strong>Most importantly, there were no new lesions identified.</strong>

<div>We cannot describe what it felt like to read those words. For a family that had spent a year holding its breath, that scan gave us a reason to exhale.
</div>

<div><strong>Every contribution helped make it possible for Manny to continue treatment. More time with him. More ordinary days. More of Manny.</strong>

<div><strong>MANNY’S STORY</strong>
</div>
<div>Emmanuel, Manny to everyone who loves him, was first diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2019 and had his left kidney removed. He was so young. We told ourselves that chapter was closed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2025, it came back, and this time it had spread to his remaining kidney, lungs, brain, and lymph nodes. He was diagnosed with metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma, an aggressive cancer that requires ongoing treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He has been on <strong>Nivolumab and Cabozantinib</strong> since then, under <strong>Dr. T. Raja at Apollo Specialty Hospital, </strong>and has now completed 23 cycles. He has been through more scans, more waiting rooms, and more uncertainty than anyone his age should have to face, and he has met all of it with a steadiness that humbles everyone around him.

<div>He still asks how we are doing. He still comforts the people who came to comfort him.
</div>

</div>
<div>His wife has been beside him through every appointment. His parents, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, friends, and all of us are still standing with him. <strong>We are not ready to stop.</strong>

</div>
<div><strong>WHY WE’RE ASKING AGAIN</strong>
</div>
<div>His oncologist has advised him to continue his current treatment with ongoing reassessment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our fundraising goal is USD 12,000 (approximately ₹10 lakh INR) for the next six months of treatment. Because the roughly USD 8,000 from last year's campaign is already reflected on this page, the target shown is USD 20,000.

<div><strong>This goal is based on the estimated cost provided by Manny’s treating team for the next six months of treatment and reassessment.</strong>

<div>That is beyond what our family can carry alone.

<div>So, we are coming back to you, <strong>not because we have lost hope, but because we have real reason to hope, and we cannot bear to stop now when his treatment is showing an encouraging response.</strong>

<div>The funds will go toward Manny’s ongoing cancer treatment with Nivolumab and Cabozantinib, as well as scans and medical reassessment over the next six months, as advised by his treating oncologist.

<div>Because Manny is being treated in India, donations are received by Anthony Leo, a close friend helping our family with the transfers. The funds are then sent directly to Manny’s family for hospital and pharmacy payments.
