<div>In August of 2025, Lydia had an ankle injury from soccer that required an x-ray. During the appt the doctor found a spot on her tibia that had swelling and wanted to x-ray that as well. This is where they found a mass on her tibia that turned out to be cancerous, osteosarcoma. 

</div>

<div>Lydia underwent surgery to remove part of her tibia and replaced with a cadaver bone and metal. She is non-weight bearing for 12 weeks and unable to drive due to it being on her right leg making it so she is unable to work and pay her bills.

</div>

<div>Before this diagnosis, Lydia received a scholarship to play soccer in college in Washington. She has worked since she was 14yrs old and has always been a hard worker. 

</div>

<div>She is currently back home in Boise recovering as it will be a long road ahead. However she still has her apartment and bills to pay for during this time. 

</div>
